I decided to start a new challenge for 2015 by trying to run/walk 2015 miles. So far so good. I've run every day of the new year. It adds up to 38.75 miles per week. It's pretty ambitious, but I know I can do it.
I don't think the cold months are going to be nearly as big a challenge as the Texas summer months. I will definitely have to get my running done early in the summer.
I am a 51 y/o wife, mother, grandmother, volunteer and ATHLETE! I am considered a mobility impaired runner because I've had Parkinson's Disease and brain implants for 16 years. Even with considerable medical issues, I've continued to run. I ran the Boston Marathon in 2013 and 2014. I would love to make new friends and help every runner in any way that I can.
