Registration Options
General Race Registration
Non-Challenge Option
Challenge Option
You will be asked for a Goal Time for the race. You will then be matched with a Challenge Partner who is shooting for a similar goal. You will be notified who your Challenge Partner is and provided their first name and bib number. There will be a Challenge Meet and Greet Area where you can connect with your partner. At this point you have a couple of options. Choose to partner up and help each other by supporting each other and pacing each other or you can choose to have a friendly competition and push each other by racing each other. The choice is completely up to you and your Challenge Partner. Regardless of how you approach it, you will have made a new friend and hopefully, Beat Yesterday together.
Virtual Option
Maybe you are unable to join us at the race at Waubonsie Lake Park but still want to achieve your goals of running a 5K? Choosing this option allows you to run the race virtually from anywhere you are and still get some of the race SWAG. A finisher medal will be shipped to you. A place for you to snap a post run selfie to share with the race community will be provided as well.
Family Pack
This is a great way to get the family involved. Register together and receive a family discount.

PARTNERS AND SPONSORS
AXEL'S JOURNEY with CMV
|
The FVRJ 5K Challenge is all about the motto #BeatYesterday. We setup this race as a “Challenge” for people to strive to improve each day and to do better than they were the day before.
Our hope is to establish a club race fund which will allow us to have future self supported races. To do this we will need equipment (ie timing, clocks, aid station supplies, etc.). But, we will never lose sight of our commitment to give back which is why we have partnered with “Axels Journey with CMV” to help in assisting the challenges of people with CMV. Axel is a local Fox Valley resident who struggles with this disease. It is from Axel, and those that are like him, that we gather our inspiration to be better than we were and to work to improve ourselves every day. 15% of registration proceeds from the FVRJ 5K Challenge Race will go to the National CMV Foundation. From the National CMV Foundation: As a non-profit organization, we are dedicated to promoting awareness, providing access to resources, and sharing prevention information to eliminate congenital CMV. Our programs are primarily focused around congenital CMV education and screening. We deliver education about congenital CMV to women of childbearing age through digital platforms, strategic partnerships, public health initiatives, and grassroots advocacy efforts. Our current areas of focus for 2019 include:
